It works well. This design makes it easy to make a cup of loose leaf tea, whether you prepare boiling water in a kettle and then pour the water in the infuser or the water in the microwave in a cup and then carefully place in the infuser . With premium twisted whole leaf tea, few leaves pass through the infuser. When brewing low-end tea with more leaves, there will be some tea residue in the cup. I was under the impression that it was a bit thin and would not last through excessive abuse. It earned 5 stars for what I think is as good a performance as the reserve price. ---- Adam

I love this tea cup! It looks delicate and sturdy. Although beautiful, it also has great functionality. I put the tea bag in the inner cup and let my tea steep for 10 minutes. It's easy to remove the inner cup with tea bag, I like tea very much. Close the lid to make it steep and make it very delicious. I will definitely buy it again if needed. ---- Kimberly
