I bought these to hold different types of vinegar that I use for cooking. So far I'm very happy with them. I weighed each of the bottles when I got them so I could get their tare weight, and they were all the same which speaks to manufacturing consistency. The tops click open and shut, they seem to seal quite well. When filled, the set looks attractive enough to leave out on my countertop for easy access while I'm cooking. ---- By Eric

I buy a lot of fruit from farmer's markets and sometimes bring fruit flies home with the fruit. With these bottles, the covered lid is meant to help control the flow of the product in the bottle, but they are also useful from keeping fruit flies out (ruining any vinegar you store).
